Well, it all started way back when...
Larry had an extended USMC leave off the coast of Spain. I met him in Barcelona and we started our adventure. We rented a very small car, called a “Seat”, appropriately named. We picked up a small rubber raft, paddles, snorkels, and fins. We tossed the inflated raft over the roof of the “Seat” and could barely see out the front window. We then drove down the steep mountainside to the beaches of the beautiful Costa Brava. We shoved off with our paddles & snorkel gear in hand, slipped over the side of the rubber raft and couldn’t believe what we saw!! We were hooked!
